Easy Access via PC
TOMMIE has been written to be platform and browser independent, to work with as broad a range of computing/ communication devices as possible. Assuming you're planning on accessing TOMMIE with a reasonably modern machine (say 5 years old or less) you should have no problems whatsoever. All you'll need is internet access and a web browser.
The vast majority of office-based users will access TOMMIE using a Windows-based PC. Whilst Internet Explorer remains the most popular browser, we have also developed TOMMIE to work with the newer generation of browsers. Specifically, we have tested TOMMIE with the following browsers:
- Microsoft Internet Explorer v. 6 and higher
- Firefox v. 2 and higher
- Opera v. 7 and higher
TOMMIE is optimised for viewing on a 1024 x 768 resolution screen. Although TOMMIE will work without Javascript enabled, it will work much better with it enabled.
